Job Description
Location: Tampa, 33602 – WFH Flexible
Must work (3) days a week in-office
Pay: $65,000 - $75,000
Type: Direct hire
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Job description:
- Prepare and analyze location and support center financial statements, partnering with FP&A to review and analyze financials, and quantifying variances from budget or expected results.
- Answer accounting and financial questions by researching general ledger transactions and providing timely, accurate data interpretation.
- Prepare journal entries, maintain supporting records, and handle day-to-day banking needs, including positive pay uploads, wire/ACH management, and merchant reconciliations.
- Integrate accounting operations of newly affiliated locations, ensuring alignment with company policies/procedures, and track deliverables for those locations.
- Prepare account reconciliations, oversee cash posting, match event revenues and expenses, manage accruals and prepaids, and provide support for internal/external audits while recommending process improvements and automation.

Requirements:
- Must have (3) years of accounting experience (with degree)
- Must have (4) years of accounting experience (without degree)
- Must have a strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research technical items
- Must have experience working in accounting software
- Must be MS Office proficient with the ability to manage a large volume of data in MS Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check required
