Location: South Tampa, FL 33616, Full Onsite
Pay: $80,000-100,00k DOE
Staff Accountant: $60K-$80K
Master's Degree: $90-$110K
Controller+: Submit with pay asking rate, please realize this role will still include "staff accountant" duties
Hours: M-F 8:00 - 5:00

Job duties:
- Assist with monthly financial close activities including: Proper application of US GAAP
- Preparing, reviewing and analyzing of month end reports
- Preparation of monthly financial statements: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement
- Balance sheet account reconciliations
- Be able to interact with audit personnel to independently resolve questions
- Continuously improve monthly close processes
- Assist in developing and improving processes and procedures
- Support calculation of Receivables and Payables
- Performs other special projects and analyses as directed by management
- Adhere to privacy, confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures
- Payroll processing, state and federal tax reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- This position will assist the Accounting Manager as needed using GAAP principles of accounting to ensure compliance and accuracy of all financial activities.
Nice to have:
- Master's Degree strongly preferred
- ?10 years of GAAP accounting
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- A minimum of 8 of progressive accounting experience
- GAAP Experience
- QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel
- Background check required
