Location: Tampa, 33602 - This position is onsite 5 Days a week.


Pay: $20.00

Hours: 8-5 M-F

Type: Contract to Hire

Training:
It is difficult in this role to cover every unique scenario.  It will take time to learn this role, we need candidates who will not get down on themselves, are able to take good notes, and are engaged.  Please know that it will take time.

Job duties:
  • This person is responsible for the details, changes and updates to purchases orders
  • Set-up and maintain plan take-off information, including complete entry for new and revised plans
  • Set-up and maintain option take-offs for all plans/communities within their division(s) of responsibility
  • Monitor home site (lot) budgeting process to create budgets in compliance with projected start dates
  • Includes reviewing simulated take-off budgets (SIMs) prior to finagling budgets
  • Includes reviewing final budgets & start packages for accuracy
  • Prepare and distribute start packages for the field and office weekly
  • Interact with estimating and division purchasing to resolve any take-off / budget problems
  • Generate and maintain supplier/trade partner item pricing process
  • Generate Cost per Square Foot (CPSF) reports
  • Correct problem commitments (Purchase orders, POs) in JDE, including take-off changes from the division(s)
  • Work with Suppliers/Trade Partners to resolve old invoices as necessary
  • Must be flexible for other duties as assigned: As an associate you may be required to cross-train across roles/departments with similar job duties, or assist with other business needs as required

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in office environment with related recent experience with creating or updating purchase orders (not AP side).
  • Computer literate with efficiency in Microsoft Excel: Sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and commands.
  • Client will issue typing test with emphasis on 10-key proficiency.  
  • High school diploma required
  • Drug screening required
