JOB ID 21347 – Accounting Clerk (AP/AR)

Location:  Odessa, FL 33556 – This position is onsite

Pay:  $21.00 per hour

Type:  Contract to hire

Schedule:  M-F 8am-4:30pm (30 Min lunch)


Job description:
  • Manage all accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions for the company, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing transactions.
  • Process all credit card transactions, maintaining detailed records and reconciling statements regularly.
  • Enter purchase orders (POs) and assist with the processing and invoicing of POs to streamline procurement activities.
  • Oversee the management of all purchasing through the accounting clearing house, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies related to invoices or payments.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on AP and AR activities, providing insights into cash flow and financial health of the organization.

Requirements:
  • Must have 2+ years of recent AR/AP experience
  • Must be MS Excel proficient: Formulas, summations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Background check required
  • Drug screening required
  • Smoke free workplace
