JOB ID 21426 – LMS Administrator (Learning Management System)

Location:  Fully remote

Pay:  $75,000

Type:  Direct hire

Schedule:  M-F, 8a-5p


Job description:
  • User Account Management: Create, manage, and assign user accounts for learners, instructors, administrators, and other roles, ensuring appropriate access to courses and training programs.
  • Course Enrollment & Tracking: Enroll users in courses, track their progress, and manage the process for assigning courses to employees based on training requirements.
  • Support & Communication: Provide daily support to learners, troubleshoot LMS issues, offer training on system usage, and act as a liaison between users and LMS system support.
  • Course Content & Structure: Upload, organize, and manage course content (text, multimedia, assessments), and set up course structures, modules, and learning journeys to enhance the learning experience.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate reports on user engagement, course completion rates, and other key metrics; analyze data to inform improvements in training strategy and course effectiveness.
  • LMS Integration & Quality Assurance: Recommend and lead integrations with other systems (e.g., HR software), test new LMS features and course content for quality, accuracy, and functionality, and ensure courses meet instructional design and accessibility standards.
  • Training & Continuous Improvement: Train instructors and users on LMS features, gather user feedback, stay current with LMS trends and innovations, and work with leadership on training compliance and quality management initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must have (1) year of recent LMS systems administration
  • Experience designing interactive course content
  • MS Office proficient including MS Excel
  • Experience with data analytics to boost LMS effectiveness
  • HRIS/LMS experience
  • Must be able to travel via car throughout the state approximately 25-50%
  • May need to work occasional evenings/weekends to accommodate travel and attendance at events
  • Background check required
  • Drug screening required
