We are in need of an Insurance Verifications Specialist and Insurance Authorization Specialists to verify insurance benefits and obtain insurance authorizations.
Duties include:

We are in need of an Insurance Verifications Specialist and Insurance Authorization Specialists to verify insurance benefits and obtain insurance authorizations.
Duties include:
- · Verifying patient's insurance eligibility.
- · Obtaining detailed benefits for ordered test.
- · Coordinate completion of prior authorization, if needed.
- Review new patient's insurance information and determine if referrals or prior authorization are required
- They will also identify the out of pocket costs for the patient, review if in or out of network, and obtain PCP information if required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a related position
- HS Diploma required
- Knowledge of insurance verification, patient referral and authorization processes
- Payer Portal Knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excels at multi-tasking and customer service and has extreme attention to detail
- CPT and ICD-10 coding knowledge is a plus
- Experience in Medical coding/billing
- Must have previous knowledge of insurance verifications and authorizations.
