Job Description
Location: Remote/FL
Pay: $18.00/hour
Type: Contract, at least 1 month no end date
Work hours:
M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
M-F, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Flexibility is ideal for storm season until 10:00 PM / to include weekends
Job description:
- Assist with policy servicing, providing updates on claims
- Direct callers to correct contacts
- Assist with questions about policies
- Enter web forms (loss report) regarding claim information for FNOL (first notice of loss) calls related to storm insurance claims
- Complete online forms
- Communicate with customers professionally and demonstrate empathy
- Respond to policy holders, claimants, claimant carriers, agents, and employees
- Other duties as assigned
Nice to have:
- Insurance experience
- Claims background
- Remote work experience
Requirements:
- Must have the aptitude to work remote independently and self-train
- Must have call center experience
- Must have a headphones with microphone - Noise cancelling preferred
- Must have a personal computer or laptop (Windows, no Mac)
- Must have a personal cell phone (multi-factor authentication)
- Must have internet and an appropriate distraction-free designated workspace
- Must have open availability
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Background check required
- Credit check required
