Job Description

Job ID 19455 – Director of Payroll (Corporate) 

Location:  Tampa – WFH Flexible
(in office 2 days)

Pay:  Starting at $100,000 depending upon experience 

Schedule:  M-F, 8am-5pm

Type:  Direct hire


Job description:
  • Enhance payroll function for superior customer service and accuracy.
  • Oversee payroll administration for 3,000+ teammates in a multi-state environment.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain internal controls.
  • Resolve non-routine issues with root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Establish internal service level agreements and key metrics.
  • Manage staff through training, development, and performance management.
  • Foster relationships with key departments and external vendors.
  • Interpret and enhance company policies affecting payroll procedures.
  • Support acquisition initiatives for payroll integration.
  • Provide requested payroll data analysis for accounting and finance.

Nice to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • International payroll

Requirements:
  • Must have experience as a Payroll Director
  • 10 years minimum progressive U.S. payroll experience
  • Proven leadership experience with at least (3) direct reports
  • Experience with payroll size 1K+ employees
  • Must have multi-state experience
  • ADP Workforce Now
  • Background check required
  • Drug screening required
