Location:  Tampa, 33607 – This position is onsite

Pay:  Starting at $17.00-$18.00 per hour, depending upon experience
Structured pay increases as you begin taking calls from additional call queues.

Schedule:  M-F, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM EST

Training schedule:  M-F, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST for about (2) weeks.
You will be on the phone as soon as Day 2.
You will have completed most of the training by 30 days.

Job description:
  1. Respond to inbound calls regarding the service needs of policy owners, general agents, producers, field personnel and home office employees, maintaining ownership until completed.
  2. Act as primary service contact for customers and agents.
  3. Provide technical guidance, information and procedural advice on a variety of customer service issues, requiring knowledge of products and services.
  4. About 60-80 inbound calls daily on average from various insurance queues, 100+ calls on a busy day/during peak season.  New employees will start around 40-50 calls daily inbound on average.
  5. Handle time on average 6-11 minutes per call.
  6. Respond to telephone, online, and written inquiries.
  7. Process policy level transactions within a level of authority.
  8. Conduct research when needed to complete service requests.

Nice to have:
  • Claims experience
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English
  • 4-40 License
  • Property, casualty, auto, home, or flood experience

Requirements:
  • Must have (1) year of Customer Service experience, they are open to industries.  They are seeking highly professional, tech savvy candidates who are reliable and seeking a career opportunity. 
  • Technical proficiency: MUST be very confident working on a computer all day and navigating between different screens and software when looking up information, will navigate (9) software systems, must be tech savvy, typing c. 40 WPM.
  • Must be able to use MS Office - Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Must be willing and able to ascertain licensure within 6 months, company provided 4-40.
  • Most important qualities in a new hire: 1. Attendance 2. Positivity 3. Communication
  • Extremely fast-paced, must be proactive.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background check required.
