Location: Tampa, 33634 – WFH Options

This position requires (1) day in the office weekly

Pay: $60-$70k

Hours: M-F 8-5

Type: Direct Hire

Job duties:
  • Manage and process benefit vendor elated invoices and reconciliation in partnership with accounting
  • Administer benefits plans, HSA, FSA, wellness programs, 401K, FMLA, LTD, STD, COBRA, etc.
  • Work with plan administrators
  • Handle plan enrollment and changes, update and maintain employee files, assist with claims
  • Monitor compliance, perform quality checks/testing/auditing
  • Assist with payroll deductions
  • Evaluate benefit plan options, present, and assist employees with understanding benefits
  • Reporting
  • Coordinate employee initiative events and continuing education events
  • Must be flexible for other duties as assigned: As an associate you may be required to cross-train across roles/departments with similar job duties, or assist with other business needs as required

Nice to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • SHRM certification
  • Multistate background, working in 20 states
  • Experience with acquisitions
  • Veterinary office experience
  • Paycom

Requirements:
  • Must have (5) years of recent benefits experience
  • Must have 401K experience/working with plan administrators
  • Previous experience working with benefits brokers
  • Healthcare industry/background
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Travel may be required for acquisitions - 10%
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Background check required
