Job ID 20220 - Authorizations Coordinator (Data Entry)

Type:  Contract, 6 weeks

Location: Oldsmar, 34677 - This position is onsite

Pay: $20.00/hour

Shift: 8:30-5pm Monday to Friday


Job duties:
  • This candidate will be primarily working the phones, verifying Primary Care Physician and following up on auth requests.
  • Will be working on data entry for the Authorization Department.
  • Transfer data from hard copy to database
  • Organize data and spreadsheets
  • Verify outdated error, make necessary changes to records
  • Operate common office equipment
  • Provide occasional administrative support
  • Sort and organize files and paperwork
  • Other duties as assigned

Training:
  • Limited training, expect to make mistakes!  It is more efficient for them to teach you on-the-job, as they cannot cover every scenario.
  • They're going to have you jump in and get started because they need people to do the work, you may have to go back and correct pieces.  
  • Must be very computer literate, working on (3) monitors.
  • Training is (2) days, able to communicate and ask questions in MS Teams

Required: 
  • Must have recent data entry experience: repetitive, detail oriented tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Background check required
  • Drug screening required
