Job Description
Location: Winter Park, 32792 – WFH Flexible
WFH Tues & Thurs
Pay: $150k+ based on experience
Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5pm
Type: Direct Hire
Job duties:
- Collaborates with upper management to comprehend and convey the organization's objectives and ethos.
- Creates and executes initiatives aimed at fostering employee morale and establishing an all-encompassing, optimistic workplace atmosphere.
- Stays up-to-date with the latest HR best practices, regulatory alterations, and emerging technologies, utilizing this knowledge to communicate policy, procedure, and resource changes to top-level executives.
- Provides guidance and instruction to managers on various employment facets, encompassing personnel concerns, recruitment, training, guidance, terminations, performance assessments, and workers' compensation.
- Formulates, examines, and enhances policies and protocols that uphold the company's employment standards.
- Investigates and ensures resolution of all employee grievances, maintaining thorough documentation of the process.
- Assesses employee terminations to guarantee adequate support and proper documentation.
- Supervises bi-weekly payroll processes.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the department.
- Evaluates employee appraisals for consistency in alignment with performance.
- Supervises recruitment endeavors, ensuring the company adeptly identifies and selects high-caliber candidates.
- Creates, reviews, and sustains compensation schemes for all staff members, ensuring they remain competitive and compelling for staff attraction and retention.
- Evaluates and sanctions salary hikes for personnel.
- Oversees the organization's healthcare benefits, encompassing negotiating insurance contracts, communicating benefit details to staff and managers, and engaging in annual rate negotiations and plan management.
- Directs the administration of the 401(k) plan and ESOP, ensuring compliance with state and federal statutes.
- Maintains an HRIS system to streamline procedures and generate data and reports concerning HR undertakings.
- Coordinates employee-centric events.
- Must be flexible for other duties as assigned: As an associate you may be required to cross-train across roles/departments with similar job duties, or assist with other business needs as required

Requirements:
- Must have recent experience as the head of Human Resources collaborating directly with executives and stakeholders
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with all aspects of Human Resources at the Director level
- Bachelors degree required
- Looking for someone who comes from a smaller organization (Up to 500 employees)
