Job Description

Job ID 19494 – Accounts Payable Associate

Location:  Tampa, 33634 – This position is onsite

Pay:  $50,000 yearly

Position type:  Direct hire


Job description:
  • Perform day-to-day full cycle accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, including research/resolution of vendor accounts and new vendor paperwork. 
  • Perform 3-way matching (match invoices with purchase orders and receivers).
  • Receive, audit, process and reconcile invoices. 
  • Scan and file all paper invoices. 
  • Obtain appropriate verification(s) and approval(s) for invoices before posting and for all invoices processed without PO’s. 
  • Prepare weekly aging reports. 
  • Ensure proper accounting of month-end. 
  • Process employee expense requests to ensure compliance with policies is appropriate and paid on time. 
  • Contact vendors to resolve any discrepancies regarding payments. 
  • Process credit memos into AP system and apply against the correct invoices. 
  • Reconcile vendor statements.

Nice to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Great Plains

Requirements:
  • Minimum (3) years of AP experience
  • MS Excel: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP
  • Experience in financial software
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Background check required
  • Drug screening required
