Pay: $17.00/hr
 
Hours:  Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 6:00

Job duties:  
  • Answer incoming calls regarding life and health policies, which will include general inquiries, service requests, concerns from consumers and agents 
  • Process all service requests for policy holders 
  • Keep track of inquiries and follow up to verify that they are answered 
  • Stay up to date on carrier and company policies and procedures 
  • Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the timeframes set, and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved 
  • Adhere to established service standards while maintaining quality standards 
  • Must be flexible for other duties as assigned:  As an associate you may be required to cross-train across roles/departments with similar job duties, or assist with other business needs as required
 
Nice to have: 
  • Preferably health/life insurance knowledge 

Requirements:
  • Must have phone customer service and/or call center experience 
  • Experience working in a high-volume call center where they are used to taking calls promptly back to back highly preferred  
  • Computer skills with the ability to navigate two screens and multiple tabs and platforms at once 
  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook 
  • Ability to work fast paced with great attention to detail  
  • Positive and charming phone personality 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Background check required
