JOB ID 19690 – Revenue Cycle Specialist II

Location: Land O Lakes, FL 34639 – This position is onsite

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Type:  Contract-to-hire
Benefits available during the contract period

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Job duties:
  • Ensures reimbursement through efficient billing processes for effective accounts receivable management, including pre-billing reports and claim generation.
  • Utilizes technology for managing clearinghouse and payor submissions, posting cash payments accurately, and addressing credit balances.
  • Reviews A/R reports, researches unpaid claims, handles correspondence and calls from payors, completes appeals, and submits patient account adjustments, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Requirements:
  • Must have a recent background in revenue cycle
  • Must have Medicaid experience
  • Must be strong in MS Excel
  • 2 - 4 years in Healthcare Billing and collections 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Background check required
  • Drug screening required
