Benefits Analyst/401K Administrator

Location: Tampa, 33634 – WFH Options
This position requires (1) day in the office weekly
Pay: $60-$80k
Hours: M-F 8-5
Type: Direct Hire
Job duties:
- Manage and process benefit vendor related invoices and reconciliation in partnership with accounting
- Oversee the day to day responsibilities of the organization's benefit plans including, but not limited to; medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, supplemental plans, 401K, COBRA, etc
- Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third party administrators
- Audit benefit enrollment information for accurate eligibility, reporting, and enrollments/terminations
- Monitor compliance, perform quality checks/testing/auditing
- Work with vendors in the processing of QDROs, QMCSOs, distributions, loans, hardships, compliance testing, true-ups and annual audits
- Evaluate benefit plan options, present, and assist employees with understanding benefits
- Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
- Monitor government regulations, legislation, and benefit trends
- Manage compliance with provisions of ERISA, FMLA, ACA, HIPPA, and COBRA
- Examine possible plan designs and benefits cost changes
- Create annual employee benefit survey's analyze the results and make recommendations
- Create department SOP's and policies as it relates to the position
- Assist with annual, quarterly, and monthly employee initiatives/events such as learning events
- Perform benefit new hire enrollment education meetings
- Prepare spectial reports as requested
- Must be flexible for other duties as assigned: As an associate you may be required to cross-train across roles/departments with similar job duties, or assist with other business needs as required
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or accounting/finance
- Benefit related certifications preferred
- SHRM certification
- Multistate background, working in 20 states
- Experience with acquisitions
- Paycom
Requirements:
- Must have (5) years of recent benefits experience in a high volume corporate environment (1,000+ employees)
- Direct experience with in-house compliance and reporting
- Must have in house 401K experience/working with plan administrators
- Experience working with brokers and health plan vendors on a day to day basis
- Experience with annual benefit surveys and analysis of data
- Experiencewith monthly reconciliation and vendor payments
- Healthcare industry/background
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables
- Travel may be required for acquisitions - 10%
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Background check required
