Job ID 19491 – Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Tampa, 33626 – This position is onsite

Pay: $22-$24.00 per hour

Type: Contract-to-hire


Job description:
  • Handle the full cycle of accounts payable, including verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, and processing payments
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Processing incoming payments 
  • Maintain vendor and ACH files
  • Create daily ACHs for processing
  • Respond to check inquiries
  • Reconciling a variety of reports
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Maintain W-9 files
  • Other duties as assigned

Nice to have:
  • AP
  • AR

Requirements:
  • (2) years of accounting experience that includes accounts payable experience
  • Intermediate Excel Skills requried (pivot tables, vlookups, sumif, concatenate)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Background check required
